Animation

Animation is a 2-dimensional illusion of movement by displaying a series of images, each one slightly different from the last. Campers will learn the basic skill set for how to produce a simple animation, along with the hand-drawing, painting techniques and various 2D animation techniques. Sessions will focus on 2-Dimensional animation projects like creation of pre-cinema optical illusion toys, such as Zoetrope, Phenakistoscope and more. Additionally, students will also learn an overview of the stop motion animation.
